Advanced medical technology
We are doing great things in our hospitals and clinics here in the Sacramento region to improve the lives of our patients with care that combines the latest in technological advances with the commitment and dedication of our caregivers.
At our South Sacramento Medical Center, we have added the most technologically advanced robotics system available for surgical treatment of some cancers.
And at our Neuroscience Center in Sacramento – the largest and most comprehensive in Greater Sacramento – we have a state-of-the-art neurointerventional suite that offers less invasive alternatives to surgery with sophisticated diagnostic and treatment technology for neurological diseases and injuries such as aneurysms, strokes, and tumors.
At Kaiser Permanente, our doctors and staff are trained to use – and help you use –video technology to conduct video appointments, providing patients with easier access and additional convenience. Video appointments are used in a variety of ways to help make care quicker and easier for you. You can have a video appointment with one of your doctors from the comfort of your home or office, or your primary care doctor can often connect with a specialist while you there in his or her office, potentially saving you from making an additional trip to see a specialist later.
