Kaiser Permanente Sacramento Medical Center

Our Sacramento Medical Center was the first Kaiser Permanente hospital in the region and has been serving the community for nearly 50 years.

Our facility offers medical and surgical care in the areas of gynecology, orthopedics and general medicine, along with emergency care and outpatient surgery*.

Expertise in cancer care

We offer expert cancer care with physician specialists and infusion services on campus, and an oncology clinical trials program that gives members access to leading-edge cancer treatments, often before they’re readily available to the general public.

Neuroscience and Comprehensive Stroke Center

We offer world-class treatment at our Neuroscience Center. Our medical center is among the first in the nation to be certified as a Comprehensive Stroke Center by The Joint Commission. We lead the way in providing diagnosis and treatment for complex conditions of the brain, spine, and central nervous system. Our center is the largest and most comprehensive in the greater Sacramento region. Our highly trained physicians and specialists use a team approach to caring for patients with brain, nerve, and spine disease and injury. In our neurointerventional suite, doctors use minimally invasive techniques as an alternative to surgery to diagnose and treat neurological diseases and injuries such as aneurysms, strokes, and tumors.
